How do I get trade pricing?

Trade pricing is available to qualified buyers in the architecture and design industry. Contact us directly to enquire.

What colours, stains and oils can you finish your pieces in?

We recommend a range of colours. You can see the options of finishes here

What do the stain and colour finish options cost?

All colour finishes and stains are included in the quoted price of pieces at no additional charge.

On rare occasions, for particular customisation, certain finishes may incur an additional charge.

Can I visit the showroom?

Of course!

The Melbourne Showroom is open by appointment Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm.

What wood do you use?

All our pieces are created using 100% Solid American Oak, unless noted otherwise.

It is possible to have pieces made in other woods including Walnut, Maple, White Ash and Tasmanian Oak.

We recommend American Oak in almost all instances for its remarkable, unique grain quality, stable build and receptive nature to our wide range of finishes.

For the interior framing of upholstered pieces Pine, MDF and Plywood are used in combination for light weight strength, affordability and durability.

When will my order ship?

All works ship within the designated lead times given at the time your order was placed.

Standard lead times are usually 8-12 weeks.

If you require faster shipping, please specify with us during your order to see if it can be accomodated.

Longer lead times apply to custom or modified works.

All of our works are hand-crafted with quality, love and care over speed.

We’re not ready for our piece quite yet, do you offer storage?

Yes, Made Studio offers 1 week of complimentary storage of your piece once it has been completed and we coordinate delivery with you.

If you are not ready to receive your piece, are waiting on project completion or would like us to hold onto your completed piece for longer, Made Studio can store your piece for you at the following rates:

  • $75 for 4 weeks of storage for a coffee table and smaller-sized individual pieces

  • $150 for 4 weeks of storage for 6/7 seater tables and armchairs

  • $250 for 4 weeks of storage for sofas, 8 seater tables and above

Storage costs are accrued in 2-week intervals and are invoiced to you before final delivery is released.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we do not ship international.

We only ship within Australia.

How do you ship local?

Local shipments are delivered by our team or a reputable local freight company.

I am experiencing delays with my lead time.

Generally, our lead times are around 8-10 weeks for solid wood furniture pieces made to order and 12-14 weeks for upholstered pieces made to order. This may vary depending on how busy things are. We will always give you an approximate lead time at the start of an order.

Sometimes orders can be delayed. This usually occurs when we are working with a partner who experiences a delay on their end that we could not have originally foreseen. If this occurs, we will notify you of the issue, and let you know how long the delay will be. We always try to meet delivery deadlines, but sometimes unforeseen issues occur in production.
