Made Studio is a furniture design studio and workshop that creates handcrafted pieces in Melbourne, Australia.

Founded in 2017 and built by Garrett and Alex Lark, the Melbourne brothers instil their decades of combined experience in art, design and architecture into the studio.

The studio’s refined furniture collections merge art, craft, design and technical innovation to realise exquisite pieces. With a reverence for sensory feel and form, Made Studio uses exceptional materials and finishes across all collections, offering additional customisation to clients, designers and architects for their residential and commercial projects.

At the forefront of the Australian furniture design industry, Made Studio delights in working closely with leading architects, designers and private clients as a part of bringing iconic projects to life across our everyday spaces.

Made Studio’s pieces are handmade in Melbourne by a team of local furniture makers and designers.

From raw timber, we prepare each board, select the most beautiful grain characteristics for each element, and refine the material to craft your final bespoke piece.

Studio + Workshop

Dimensions and comfort, refined to your space.

We design and make in-house. With upholstered sofas and armchairs, we work with you to select the optimal fabric for your space.

Our designers, upholstery team and delivery partners work to create a delightful experience for you to order and enjoy your new piece across every state in Australia.
